API Documentation

Connect your client to our uncensored API by setting the base URL and API key. Send text prompts to generate responses without content refusals for lawful adult use.

Base URL and Authentication

Your API key authenticates every request. Pass it in the Authorization header as a bearer token. The base URL points to our OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Use the official SDKs or any compatible client library. Change the base URL to our domain and inject your key. No phone number is required for signup. Only an email address is needed to receive your key. The key is displayed immediately after creation. Use this key for all subsequent calls. It remains valid until you revoke it or replace it.

First Request

Send a POST request to the chat completions endpoint. Specify the model ID as uncensored. Include your system and user messages in the request body. The response contains the generated text. Errors return standard HTTP status codes. Use this simple structure to verify connectivity. Check the response object for content and token usage. This confirms your setup works correctly.

curl https://api.cheapestgptmodel.com/v1/chat/completions \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "model": "uncensored",
    "messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Convert this python function to async"}]
  }'

Python SDK Integration

Install the OpenAI Python package via pip. Set the API key and base URL in the client configuration. Pass messages as a list of dictionaries. The client handles serialization and retries automatically. Retrieve the assistant message from the response object. This approach simplifies integration into existing scripts. It works with both synchronous and asynchronous workflows. Adjust parameters like temperature to control randomness. Streaming is also available in Python.

from openai import OpenAI

client = OpenAI(base_url="https://api.cheapestgptmodel.com/v1", api_key="YOUR_KEY")

resp = client.chat.completions.create(
    model="uncensored",
    messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Summarise this thread without softening it."}],
)
print(resp.choices[0].message.content)

Node SDK Integration

Install the OpenAI Node.js package using npm or yarn. Configure the client with your base URL and key. Call the chat.completions.create method. Provide the model name and messages array. The response object contains the generated content. Handle errors gracefully by checking the error property. This method integrates smoothly with Express or serverless functions. It supports both promise-based and async/await patterns. Use it for high-volume generation tasks.

import OpenAI from "openai";

const client = new OpenAI({ baseURL: "https://api.cheapestgptmodel.com/v1", apiKey: process.env.API_KEY });

const resp = await client.chat.completions.create({
  model: "uncensored",
  messages: [{ role: "user", content: "Draft a villain monologue for my game." }],
});
console.log(resp.choices[0].message.content);

Streaming Responses

Enable streaming by setting the stream parameter to true. The API returns a sequence of Server-Sent Events. Each event contains a partial chunk of the response. Collect these chunks to reconstruct the full message. This reduces perceived latency for long outputs. The final chunk includes token usage statistics. Handle network interruptions by resuming from the last chunk. Streaming is efficient for real-time user interfaces. It keeps the connection open until completion.

stream = client.chat.completions.create(
    model="uncensored",
    messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Tell the story in second person."}],
    stream=True,
)
for chunk in stream:
    if chunk.choices and chunk.choices[0].delta.content:
        print(chunk.choices[0].delta.content, end="", flush=True)

Limits, Errors, and Context

The context window is 100,000 tokens total. Max output is 16,000 tokens per request. Rate limits allow 300 requests per minute. Concurrent requests are capped at 8 per key. A 401 error means your API key is invalid. A 402 error indicates insufficient prepaid credit. A 429 error signals that you have exceeded the rate limit. Increase your prepaid balance to continue usage. Errors do not consume tokens. This ensures you only pay for successful generation.
